Jambon de printemps BREAD COURSE
Our 3 day bread course will give you all you need to make show-stopping European breads. You will learn the different aspects of slow fermentation and making a starter. You can flavor your breads from our own herb garden.
Arrival night we will share cheese & wine and discuss the course ahead.
Day 1. MAKING DOUGH
We will learn about the ingredients we will be using, then make a bread dough learning to knead, proof & bake. We will make our starter ready for the next day.
Day 2. FRENCH BREADS
Today you will create a selection of traditional French loaves, Baguette & a buttery Brioche
We will make a starter for our next day's bake.
Day 3. ITALIAN BREADS
On our last day we will make Focaccia, Ciabatta & Pizza which weather permitting we will bake in our wood-fired oven.
